Choose this one if

  • You own a PR-1000 series rack and want dips without another station
  • You want adjustable handle width rather than a fixed spacing
  • You want an attachment that comes off in seconds

The detail

Dips are the most useful movement a basic power rack cannot do, and this is the cheapest way to add them to a PR-1100 or its siblings. At 400 lb capacity it comfortably covers bodyweight plus a dip belt loaded well past what most people will add.

Adjustable handle width is the feature that makes it worth the money. Narrow dips bias triceps, wide dips bias chest, and a fixed-width station makes that choice for you permanently. It also means people of different shoulder widths can share it without one of them being in a bad position.

The installation method is worth understanding before you buy: both safeties have to be positioned on the same side of the rack, the attachment slides onto the top safety and is tightened with knobs, and the bottom safety supports its base. That is quick and tool-free, and it means your safeties are committed to one side while it is fitted.

REP is candid that some minor wiggle during use is normal — the trade for an attachment designed to come off in seconds rather than bolt on. It is movement, not instability, and it is the honest kind of disclosure most manufacturers leave to reviews.

Padded handles are correct here. Dips put your full bodyweight through a small contact patch, and bare knurled steel gets unpleasant fast on a set of twelve.

Fitment is PR-1000, PR-1050 and PR-1100 only, and REP explicitly declines to guarantee compatibility with other brands' racks because of machining variation. Owners of a PR-4000 or PR-5000 need the separate Dip Station instead.
