Choose this one if

  • You want the Ohio Bar and would rather it did not look like every other bar
  • You want Cerakote corrosion resistance on a do-everything bar
  • You want no centre knurl at all on a 20 kg bar

The detail

Underneath the finish this is the Ohio Cerakote Bar, and the specification is the one that made the Ohio Bar the default recommendation for a decade: 28.5 mm shaft, 190,000 PSI, dual knurl marks, no centre knurl, bronze-class bushings, a 16.40-inch loadable sleeve, and Rogue's F8-R rating — the middle of their whip scale.

No centre knurl is the choice that defines it as a general-purpose bar. It helps a low-bar squat and it shreds a shirt on high-rep bench and scrapes the collarbone in a front rack. Rogue has picked comfort, which is right for a bar that will spend most of its life pressing and pulling.

Cerakote is the finish worth paying for in a garage. It resists corrosion and abrasion far better than zinc and does not wear through the way thin decorative chrome does. Note that only the shaft is Cerakote here — the sleeves are bright zinc, so those will patina first.

The multi knurl with dual marks means the bar is not committed to a discipline: IWF spacing for the Olympic lifts, IPF for the bench and squat, on one bar.

The finish is the entire difference from the standard Ohio Cerakote Bar, and it is a special-edition colourway rather than a different product. If the red-white-and-blue pattern appeals, you are paying for it; if not, the plain Cerakote version is the same bar.

Made in Columbus, Ohio, with a lifetime warranty — which on a bar is the term that matters, since a bent bar is a dead bar.
