Choose this one if
- Your gym shares a garage with a car and the floor has to clear
- You want 3x3 Monster Lite steel rather than a lighter folding rack
- You have a wall with studs and 90 inches of ceiling
The detail
A folding rack is the answer to one question: does the car still fit? Open, this occupies 45 inches of depth; folded, it is flat against the wall. A four-post cage takes 34 to 40 by 53 inches of floor permanently.
What makes this one unusual is that nothing is compromised to get there: 3x3 inch 11-gauge steel and Monster Lite compatibility, the same as Rogue's free-standing racks. Most folding racks step down to lighter tube or a proprietary hole pattern; this keeps the deepest attachment ecosystem in the industry.
Thirty inches of inside depth is genuinely usable, which is not a given on a folding rack — many give you 21 or 22. Thirty is enough to squat and bench in comfortably.
At 330 lb this is a heavy rack, and that weight is going onto your wall. The wall does the work here, so it needs studs or masonry and the correct fasteners. The optional stringer adds 2.75 inches to the on-wall width and is what spreads the load across more of the structure — worth taking if your stud spacing is not ideal.
Ninety and three-eighths inches tall means a genuine 8-foot ceiling with clearance to pull up. Note that a folding rack also needs the ceiling clear through its fold arc, not just at rest.
Rogue does not publish a weight capacity in the Gear Specs for this listing. On a wall-mounted rack that number depends partly on your wall, but get Rogue's figure in writing before loading it heavily.
Compare the PRX Profile CORE, which folds flatter and is a squat rack rather than a full cage.
