Choose this one if

  • You already own a MyRack and want the matching bench
  • You want a narrow pad that lets your shoulders retract
  • Your bench-plus-bodyweight total is comfortably under 705 lb

The detail

At 11.5 inches the pad is narrow, which is the correct choice for a pressing bench and the same width Force USA uses on its Peak flat bench. Narrow lets your shoulder blades hang off the edges and retract fully; wide props them up and feels more comfortable while pressing worse.

705 lb is a modest rating for an adjustable bench — below the 992 lb on Force USA's own Pro Series FID and the 1,200 lb on the PRX Razortooth. It is still bar plus lifter, and it covers anyone benching under about 450. If you are past that, look at the heavier benches in the range.

Seventeen and a half inches of height is half an inch above the competition 17, which is normal on an adjustable frame — the mechanism has to live underneath. Taller lifters will not notice; if you are short, plan on your heels lifting.

At 61 inches long this is a long bench, five inches longer than most, and 26.5 inches wide with the legs out. That length is what supports a taller lifter's head and shoulders at incline, and it is floor you have to find.

The MyBench is designed around the MyRack ecosystem, which is Force USA's argument for buying both: matched heights, matched attachments, one manufacturer.

Force USA does not publish the number of incline or decline positions, the pad thickness, or the bench weight for the MyBench. On an adjustable bench the number of angles is most of what you are paying for, so ask for the ladder detail before ordering — a three-position frame and a seven-position one are different products at the same description.
