Choose this one if
- You own more than one barbell and they currently live on the floor
- You have a TITAN Series rack with spare upright real estate
- You want bars off the ground without giving up any floor space at all
The detail
The problem this solves is unglamorous and universal: once you own a second bar, they end up leaning in a corner, rolling under the rack, or lying across the plates. Bars stored on the floor get stepped on, and bar sleeves get chipped against concrete.
These bolt to the rack upright and stand a bar on end, using vertical space that was doing nothing. That is the real argument — unlike a floor-standing bar holder, this costs you zero square feet in a room where square feet are the scarce resource.
The 51 mm sleeve diameter takes any standard Olympic bar, and Titan specifies a seamless tube with a plastic insert so the bar's own sleeve is not scraping bare weld or steel every time you drop it in. That detail matters more than it sounds: a chipped sleeve coating is where rust starts.
Two things to check before ordering. The mounting hole spacing is 6 inches centre to centre, which matches the TITAN Series side holes — it will not necessarily line up with another manufacturer's rack, or with Titan's own T-3 and X-3 series, which have their own rack-specific holders. And they ship as a pair, so one purchase stores two bars.
Storing a bar vertically does put the whole bar's weight on one sleeve end. That is fine for bars in ordinary use, and it is worth knowing if you own something with a bent shaft you were hoping to store straight.
