The detail

Seven inches deep when stored is the whole product. The legs fold flat and the bench hangs on an included wall mount, so a bench that is 17 inches tall in use is a panel against the wall the rest of the time. A conventional flat bench occupies 45 by 14 inches of floor permanently.

At 35 lb it is the lightest bench covered here — half the Fringe flat bench at 64 lb and a quarter of PRX's own Razortooth. That is what makes hanging it a one-person job rather than a project.

Six hundred and sixty pounds is the capacity, which is lower than the 880 to 1,200 lb of fixed flat benches here. That is the honest cost of folding legs locked with half-inch pins rather than welded steel. For a bencher and a bar totalling under 600 lb it is not the limiting factor; if you are pressing 500, buy a welded bench.

Seventeen inches is standard pad height — close enough to the competition 17 that your setup transfers.

It mounts to a wall, and the wall does the work. PRX specifies a single stud or 12/16-inch on-centre studs. The bracket is small at 12 by 18 by 4 inches, so it can go somewhere out of the way; the bench itself needs a clear stretch of wall to hang against.

The natural pairing is with a PRX folding rack — both on the wall, both down in thirty seconds, and the floor genuinely empty between sessions. That is a complete gym in a garage that also parks a car.

Flat only: no incline, no decline. If you press on an incline you need a second bench.
