Choose this one if

  • You want your feet planted with no leg in the way
  • You bench flat and want the highest capacity on a bench here
  • You want a competition 17-inch height with a wider, thicker pad

The detail

The single post is the design. A four-legged bench puts two legs exactly where a wide, driving foot position wants to be, and every heavy bencher ends up working around them. One central column at the head end clears that space entirely — the same reasoning as the tripod on the Force USA Peak, taken further.

Seventeen inches is the competition height, and it is the height at which most people can get their feet flat with their shins vertical.

Fourteen inches of pad is wide — wider than the 11.6 on the Peak, the 12 competition standard on the Fringe flat bench, and much wider than the 8-to-10.4 on the PowerBlock PowerBench. That is a real preference split rather than a better or worse number. A wide pad supports more of your back and feels planted; a narrow one lets your shoulder blades retract off the edges. If you compete, train on 12. If you bench for size and comfort, 14 is the nicer surface.

Four inches of foam is thick, and it works with the width — this is a bench built for comfort under load rather than for the firmest possible platform.

Twelve hundred pounds is the highest flat-bench capacity on this site, and 3x3 inch 11-gauge steel is rack-grade tube. At 76 lb it is heavy, and Titan has answered that with rear wheels, a knurled front handle, and upright storage.

Four colours, which is worth noting only because a bench is furniture in a room you look at daily.
