The detail
Every specification here says powerlifting and none of them hedge. 29 mm shaft, aggressive mountain knurl, an aggressive centre knurl, single powerlifting marks, bronze bushings, 220,000 PSI and 2,000 lb.
The 29 mm shaft is the point. It flexes less than a 28.5 mm bar, so under a maximal squat the bar stays where you put it rather than oscillating across your back. Compare Titan's own deadlift bar, which is built to do exactly the opposite.
Mountain knurl is the sharpest pattern in common use and it does not let go. That is what you want on a max deadlift with sweaty hands and precisely what will tear your palms on a set of fifteen. Pair that with an aggressive centre knurl — which keeps the bar from sliding down your back in a low-bar squat and will destroy a t-shirt on bench — and you have a bar for heavy singles and low reps. If your training has any volume in it, the Cerakote bar is the one to live with.
At 220,000 PSI this matches the PRX Reef and sits behind only the 235,000 PSI Force USA Gunner and the 240,000 PSI chrome Bells of Steel Olympic bar. The 2,000 lb rating is joint-highest here.
Hard chrome on both shaft and sleeves is a proper finish — thicker and more wear-resistant than decorative chrome, better than zinc. Ribbed sleeves grip plates and collars more securely than smooth ones.
A 16.25-inch loadable sleeve is generous, which matters on a bar you intend to load heavily.
