The detail

Westside hole spacing is the specification that separates this from Titan's other racks. Westside means tighter spacing through the bench-press zone and wider elsewhere — the pattern named after Westside Barbell, and the answer to the problem that on 2-inch spacing the right J-cup height for a bench is usually between two holes. The TITAN Series 90x36 uses 2 inches throughout; this does not.

A half rack means lifting in front of the uprights rather than inside a cage: no steel beside your elbows, room to walk out of a squat, and space for a bench or a machine that would not fit in a four-post. The 41 by 42 inch walk-in area is generous.

Four weight plate holders built in is more than a convenience. Plates on the uprights are plates you are not walking across the room for, and their mass at the base of a 230 lb rack materially improves stability — which matters on a half rack, where a loaded front is a lever.

At 1,000 lb this is rated below Titan's 3x3 TITAN Series half rack at 2,000 lb, which is the honest consequence of 2x3 rather than 3x3 uprights. A thousand pounds covers essentially every home lifter.

Height is the constraint: 92.5 inches, with the pull-up bar up to 89. That needs a genuine 8-foot ceiling with clearance, and it is nearly a foot taller than the 82-inch T-3 cage. In a basement it will not stand.

J-hooks with UHMW padding are included, which is the correct facing — plastic between your bar and the steel, not metal on metal.

The 11/16-inch holes are the T-3 pattern, so T-3 strap safeties and other 2x3 attachments fit.
